"less is more"...."weniger ist mehr"

Kurz zum Projekt : bei Pinterest habe ich diese Idee gesehen und zurueckverfolgt zu http://www.shannonsminis.com/avboxes.html

da gibts wer weiss was alles an Buecher-Mini-Projekten, ganz toll!
Ich konnte nicht anders..ich musste das einfach ausprobieren! :) 

Von den Buechern selbst bleibt nur der Einband erhalten, aber aus den Innenseiten mache ich ja auch was..daher kein schlechtes Gewissen! :) 

So ein Projekt sieht toll aus im normalen Buecherregal zwischen allem anderen an Buechern! Bei meinem kommt nun noch die Innnenausstattung , Beleuchtung und Dach/Abdeckung hinzu! 

Ich wollte ein bisschen an "Vorplatz" haben, auch damit man das ganze besser anfassen/plazieren etc kann. Also erst ein Versuch mit "Rasen" und Steinweg...der mir aber garnicht gefiel.

...also dann heute die Methode "weniger ist mehr"...und nun siehts doch viel besser aus! :) Die Steine sind mit Kreidefarben (beinahe zu doll...) verwettert...und das Waldwichtelmaennchen ( ein fertig geschenkt bekommenes Figuerchen) kann nun seine Weihnachtswichtelbuecher einkaufen gehn! :)

I first made the space infront with "grass" and stones..which i didn't like at all...so this morning , the method "less is more" came into action...and now it looks much much better!! :) The stones are "weathered" now ( nearly too much...) with chalk-colours. I still have to add the lighting, interior bookshelves and more and some kind of roof.. :) 

I saw something...:) Ich hatte etwas gesehen :) ...

....and put my heart to it, as i love books!

I think it is a tribute to old books when we use them - and don't throw them away :)
With these "mini-book-shops" ..well, except the titelpages of the books, there isn't much left of them...but i use the insidepages for other creations...so i don't feel bad about cutting them out :)
I am given many "i don't want them any more"  books...as friends know by now that i will make something from it!

A little bookshop on the real-life shelf , how about that? :)
I am not finished by far !!!! You can see that further down in the picture of course .....But sharing this with you is a big percentage of the happiness one feels when building something new!
Now , this is NOT MY IDEA! I saw it on pinterest and fell for it!

So, here is my way ...up to now! :)  ( these are real size books!!! not minis!!! ) 

I actually don't know if it is the right way to cut everything out...but ..anyway, that's what i did! :)  And then glued the remains together again! 

on the real-life shelf...i think it is a wonderful idea! 

I also put the led candles insight...but that will show nicer with better pictures!

I just finished the first window, there will be the door and another window! 

Theo, Praline and Caramel love it ! Praline just had to go inside already! 

Caramel always finds a way... :) 

will write in German later! : )

Deutsch kommt auch, spaeter! :)

my first letters, need practice, but am quite satisfied for a start! This folded heart is not the best ...but i thought it should have a chance ,too! It has "suffered" a lot! :)

Meine ersten gefaltenen Buchstaben, fuer den Anfang bin ich relativ zufrieden! Braucht Uebung! Das gefaltene Herz ist nicht das Beste...aber ich will ihm doch auch eine Chance geben, es hat viel "gelitten"!:)

more old- book recycling!! not completely my idea (i saw some paper-angels on the web http://www.onlinecolleges.net/2010/02/17/80-awesome-ideas-for-all-your-old-or-unwanted-books/ )- the link is really great!! -  ...but with my "touch!!" ..she is actually quite surprised herself, how pretty she turned out!! :)
weiteres Alte-Buecher-Recycling!! nicht vollkommen meine Idee (ich habe einige Papier-Engel im Internet gesehen http://www.onlinecolleges.net/2010/02/17/80-awesome-ideas-for-all-your-old-or-unwanted-books/ )- da gibts viel zu gucken , sehr interessant!!-  ...aber mit meinem "Stil"!! Sie ist ja selber sehr erstaunt, wie huebsch sie geworden ist!! :) 

and this is how i did..."Peter-Tim" !!! will make more fotos ...working on his brother!!!

und so hab ich "Peter-Tim"  gemacht!!! werde noch mehr Fotos machen, waehrend sein Bruder entsteht!!!

it was nice to do 30 little blue/white/shell/pearls prams...but enough is enough!! :)
es hat Spass gemacht, 30 kleine blau/eiss/Muschel/Perlenwagen zu machen...aber nun ists genug!! 

They also got their box...again book(and other)-recycling!!
Sie haben auch ihren karton...wieder Buch (und anderes) -Wiederverwertung!!


All little prams (like most things  made by me up to now) are "recycle-items", shirts, jeans, cork, shells i have found and collected myself, ribbons, handles from paperbags, old paper-folders...and maybe more...) .
Alle kleinen Wagen sind "recycling-Sachen" ( wie das Meiste von meinen Sachen bis jetzt), Hemden,. T-shirts, Korken,selbstgesammelte Muscheln,  alte Ketten, Baender, Griffe von Papiertaschen, alte Umschlaege, Ordner...und wahrscheinlich noch einiges andere!...).

a box makeover and more summer-baby-boy- mini-prams

In our printing office there are many -ugly-boxes...but good for packaging my Littlethings! |They needed a total makeover and old book recycling can happily go on! This is the first one, next ones will be better!
In unserer Druckerei gibts viele-haessliche-Kartons...die aber prima zum "kleine Sachen" verpacken sind! Ich habe sie "bearbeitet" ,  und die Wiederverwertung von alten Buechern kann froehlich weiter gehen! Das hier ist der erste, die weiteren werden besser! 

First 15 mini prams are ready! Praline is still quite enjoying herself, whereas poor Caramel would love to get his house (and promised clothes) ready!
Die ersten 15 Sommer-Baby-Junge-mini-Wagen sind fertig, Praline macht es weiterhin Spass, waehrend der arme Caramel immer noch auf seine Sachen warten muss!
