Getting Santa ready :) Der Weihnachtsmann wieder im Einsatz :)

you might remember, after last year's Cristmas i decided not to put the Santa-doll away for the year..but to keep him around in the dollhouse :)
He didn't show up in my posts during the year..but he was there, and i think it was a good decision...as the year went so well for my miniatures and paper-art ! :)
I am sure..Santa helped! :)

Of course, i had packed away his santa-clothes..which by now i can't remember where ( they will surely turn up AFTER christmas..:) ....so, he got a new outfit today, with a nice shiny fabric...all helped, and he turned out quite pretty!

I know..he isn't the most perfect doll...but he is cute..and i like him :)

Roses for my sister!

Happy Birthday to my sister .....in Germany! 

We are three sisters, the other one had her birthday ,too, some days ago...and this sweet poem goes to both of them! :) 

Here we are..just some years ago!!! :)

But i simply had to give it a try, as ROSES are the most beautiful flowers to me! 

I tried to make some for my sister's birthday- which is today! My first try is with fabric! 

Bei weitem kann ich meine ersten Versuche nicht mit den perfekten Creationen vergleichen..die so viele von euch machen. Aber ich wollte es doch mal probieren! Ich habe es versucht, fuer meine Schwester, deren Geburtstag heute ist! Hier sind die ersten Stoff-Roeschen!

I had been admiring all the beautiful jugs/pitchers on your blogs...so i tried that,too :) ...but they are not as easy as it seems..getting the sizes right! 

My sister loves blue...so i used paper and a paper-napkin!

Maria from Ireland is such a special one in blog-world...i had been thinking for quite some time to make a little surprise for her...when she showed pictures on her blog from a prize she won some months ago.., which was a tiny little baby-doll, i got the idea to make a crib for her! i had saved a beautiful paper-napkin with little fairies....they were perfect for it! and in order to have the crib for boys and girls...there is pink and blue! :)

i couldn't resist...and gave it a try for the first time......well i am no expert...but it was fun! i cut fake fuer into "tiny" hairs..and glued it to the body.
ich konnte natuerlich nicht wiederstehen und musste es einfach mal versuchen, zum ersten Mal. ...Expertin bin ich ja nicht...aber Spass hat's gemacht. Ich habe Fell in kleine Haerchen zerschnitten und dann angeklebt. 

i think he could find a place in a little bearhouse?
er koennte doch ein Plaetzchen in einem Baerenhaeuschen finden? :)

TRACKING MINI JAZZI- Package!

That's a great thing...to see how things are going! You all still have a few days- i suppose! The tracking-info just still says "Sent off" by the post-office yesterday lunchtime...! It is via "registered mail"...perhaps the new hostess will have to go and collect Mini-Jazzi from some post-office!

Das ist ja eine interessante Sache ...nachschauen zu koennen, wo sich das Paket befindet! Ich denke, ihr habt alle noch ein paar Tage Zeit...auf dem Info steht nur "Abgesendet von Postannahmestelle" noch von gestern Mittag! ....Es geht per Einschreiben..evtl muss die neue Gastgeberin Mini-Jazzi bei irgendeiner Post abholen!

Caramel likes it...while busily studying the map ...Where to take Mini-Jazzi!!! :)

Anleitung fuer Mini-Becher...natuerlich nicht sooo einfach wie es aussieht...aber ich musste es probieren, denn ein "Mini-Souvenir" sollte entstehen! :) 
Caramel mag den Becher...waehrend er eifrig die Karte studiert...Wohin gehn wir mit Mini-Jazzi?!! :)

Οδηγιες για μινι-κούπα...φυσικα οχι τόσο ευκολο όπως φαινεται, αλλά έπρεπε να δοκιμασω, μια που ηθελα να φτιαξω ενα μινι-σουβενιρ! :)

a try with the furniture, i made the little bed and the blanket.- the other are old, ready ones, i painted ( hope to find a leg for the little chair!! ;)
 now we'll have to transform his little cupboard-house into a castle!!! well...Caramel is off to the beach before that will begin!

ein kleiner Aufstellversuch mit den Moebeln. das Bettchen und die Decke habe ich gemacht- der Rest sind alte, fertige Teile, die ich angemalt habe (hoffe, ich finde ein Stuhlbein!! :) 
Nun muss sein Schrank-haus in eine Burg verwandelt werden...aber bevor das losgeht, faehrt Caramel erstmal an den Strand!!! 

μια δοκιμη με τα επιπλακια. εφτιαξα το κρεββατακι και την κουβερτουλα- τα άλλα ειναι έτοιμα κομματια που απλά έβαψα. Τωρα το ντουλαπο-σπιτακι που ειχα βρει πρέπει να μετατραπεί σε κάστρο...αλλά πριν το ξεκινήσουμε, ο Καραμέλ πάει παραλία!!! :)
