I didn't participate ...but after finding out that it was also Monika'a real birthday....i made a little something for her! Monika hatte einen kleinen Geburtstags -swap gemacht fuer einen Kindergeburtstag. Schaut euch die wunderschoene Balkon-szene an auf ihrem Blog! Ich hatte nicht mitgemacht...aber dann las ich , dass Monika selber wirklich Geburtstag hatte...und so hab ich etwas Kleines dafuer gemacht! Obwohl der Geburtstag ja schon vorbei ist....lassen wir doch die Spannung noch etwas...bis es sie erreicht hat, und ich es euch dann auch zeigen kann!

Ich dachte mir doch, dass sie erst den "Rose" probieren!!! :) 

Now Monika asked which Cellar they are from...o, it is easy : ...second shelve to the right, behind the little box with pearles, under the little box with tiny books!  next to my desk!!! It is true, that they are my first try on Bottles...that's why the "Champagne" better stays inside the box! But it looks nice that way ,too, doesn't it?

Monika fragte, aus welchem Weinkeller die Flaschen wohl sind...o, das ist einfach zu beantworten! ...zweites Regal rechts, hinter der kleinen Dose mit Perlchen, under der kleinen Schachtel mit MIni-Buechern!...direkt neben meinem Tisch ! :) 
Es stimmt, das ist mein erster |Versuch mit Flaschen...darum bleibt der "Champagner" auch besser in der Schachtel liegen! Aber dort sieht er doch auch gut aus, oder?

August 23, evening : Dear diary, i am NOT Cinderella anymore...! Liebes Tagebuch: Ich bin nicht mehr Aschenputtel!

joined forces....and heroic actions by Caramel did the job!
The shoe was found! :)
 ( and is now in Mini-Jazzi's tiny little shoe-box...where it will remain!!!! )

..in Zusammenarbeit ..und nach heldenhaften Aktionen seitens Caramel ist der Schuh gefunden! 
(und ist nun in Mini-Jazzis kleiner Schuhschachtel...wo er auch bleiben wird! :) 

Το πρωι στα πλαισια της φωτογραφισης στο μπαλκονι...χάσαμε ενα παπουτσακι...δράμα μεγάλο..αλλά μετα απο φοβερή συνεργασία και ηρωικες προσπάθιες του Καραμέλ....βρέθηκε!
Τωρα το βαλαμε στην πολυ πολυ μικρη παπουτσοθήκη της Μινι-Τζάση ...και εκει θα παραμείνει!! :)

August 23, Diary entry : starting a look around! ...Eintrag ins Tagebuch : etwas umgucken!

a hot day..it is 34 degrees north of Athens. Had a walk on the balcony...see what i found! Fortunately there is a lot of shadow...! :)
ein heisser Tag, 34 Grad im Norden von Athen. war auf dem Balkon..hier seht ihr , was ich alles gefunden habe! Zum Glueck gibt es viel Schatten! :)

these are Anna's "Morningflowers"...they only blossom up early morning in the sunshine...and are gone soon after! there are new ones every day!
Das sind Anna's Morgenblumen! Sie bluehen nur fruehmorgens im ersten Sonnenschein..und verschwinden dann schnell...aber jeden Morgen gibt es neue Blueten! 

tiny blue flowers...so pretty to see!
kleine blaue Bluemchen, so huebsch! 

in my back...a tiny PINE tree slowly growing in the flowerpot..together with other plants! After the horrible fires here in northern Athens over the last years...everybody tries to grow new little trees..where-ever possible, cares for them with much love and attention! When they are a little bit bigger and stronger..they are planted on the mountains again.! 
Im Ruecken habe ich einen kleinen Kiefernbaum, der zusammen mit anderen Pflanzen im Blumentopf waechst!. Das machen viele Menschen hier...nach den schlimmen Feuern in den letzten Jahren, werden die kleinen Pflaenzchen wie ein Augapfel gehuetet und gepflegt..bis sie etwas groesser und kraeftiger sind ...und wieder in den Bergen eingepflanzt werden!

Waer doch gelacht, wenn ich keine Schaukel gefunden haette!

Ein Feigenbaum, direkt am Balkon...die reife Feige ist schon im Kuehlschrank!

back inside now...have to talk to Praline  and Caramel, as...ehm...we have to go out together again...as I lost something somewhere in a flowerpot..i think it was the Jasmine! ....You see, i did some climbing...and a tiny shoe fell off....but we will find it! luckil;y , it's NOT  windy!!! :)

Praline's bathroom was so comfortable..difficult to get away!
Pralines Badezimmer war so gemuetlich..schwierig dort wegzukommen!
Το μπάνιο της Πραλίνε ηταν τοσο άνετο...δύσκολο να φύγεις από κει...!

ηπια και ενα καφεδακι εκει..also had a first coffee there...dort schon mal ein Taesschen Kaffee getruneken...

but then time was passing so quickly..had to get dressed finally...o, it is so warm and will get hotter over the weekend!

aber die Zeit verfliegt ja so schnell, musste mich dann doch endlich anziehen...o, es ist warm...und soll noch heisser werden wieder...

and then brunch with Caramel.... he was shy but then we started talking and talking ...and we soon became  best friends! 

und dann Brunch mit Caramel Er war erst sehr zurueckhaltend..aber  dann haben wir angefangen zu erzaehlen...und sind jetzt beste Freunde!

right now we are getting ready for a very happy, relaxing evening on the roofgarden...but thought we should already take a "group-photo"...wouldn't like to forget that!
Yes..it was a long flight ...half around the world! My new friends can't get enough of all stories! The only thing which is not nice : I don't fit into Caramel's swing....no way.
Looking forward to the next days...got the swimming-suit ready! :)

jetzt sind wir oben auf der Dachterasse und freuen uns auf einen froehlichen und relaxten Abend..haben aber schon mal dran gedacht, ein "Gruppenfoto" zu machen...das waere ja nicht schoen, dass zu vergessen! 
Ja, das war ein langer Flug..um die halbe Erde herum...! Meine neuen Freunde koennen garnicht genug bekommen von allen Geschichten! Nur eins ist schade..ich passe nicht auf Karamels Schaukel...es geht nicht!
freue mich auf die naechsten Tage..der Badeanzug leigt schon bereit! :)

τωρα ειμαστε πανω στην ταράτσα-κηπος! Θα περασουμε ενα πολυ χαρουμενο και ξεκουραστο βραδυ...και κεφτηκαμε ηδη να βγαλει και την ομαδικη φωτογραφια...μη το ξεχασουμε!
Ναι, ηταν πολυ μεγαλο ταξιδι...το μισο γυρο του κοσμου...! οι καινουργιοι φιλοι μου δεν χορταινουν να ακουν όλες τις ιστοριες. Μονο ενα πραγμα με στεναχωρει...δεν χωράω στη κουνια του Καραμέλ...με τίποτα..!

MiniJazzi's worldtrip- die Weltreise ...Good Morning! Kalimera! Guten Morgen!

First of all i would like to apologize to my German-speaking friends about not writing in German,too, yesterday evening ..but is was really late...very late!!!!

Erstmal moechte ich mich bei allen deutschsprachigen Freunden entschuldigen, dass ich gestern Abend nicht auch auf Deutsch geschrieben habe...aber es war schon sooo spaet....sehr spaet!!! Im Lauf des Tages werde ich aber alles uebersetzen..und dann koennt ihr nachlesen!! ;) 

Ζητω συγνωμη που δεν έγραψα χτες βραδυ στα Γερμανικα ..ουτε στα Ελληνικα...αλλά ηταν ηδη πολυ αργα, μα παρα πολυ αργα...αλλα σιγα σιγα θα τα μεταφρασω όλα και θα μπορεσετε να τα διαβασετε!!

a beautiful day has started...MJ got up well and refreshed and is in the bathroom right now...!!! :) 
Praline is showing her around, making sure she will find evrything she needs!!! 
Yesterday evening MJ needed a very thin and light nightgown...you can see it here! And...as dear Maria from Ireland asked for...yes there is a tiny detail : Mini-Jazzi does wear underwear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a fact i was quite happy about ...as her nightie...is sort of see-through!!! :)  :) 
you will slowly get all the details...there is so much to show and to tell...but you won't get everything to see...as i will leave some tiny surprises to the next hostess!!! :) 

the bathroom is just about big enough for Mini-Jazzi!!! Wonderful!
Mini-Jazzi passt gerade geau rein ins Badezimmer..super! 

Mini Jazzi brauchte gestern abend ein duennes Nachthemd..das koennt ihr hier sehen! Praline guckt, dass ihre Besucherin auch alles Noetige hat! Uebrigens...da Maria aus Irland betonte, dass sie ALLE Details wisen will...Mini Jazzi traegt Unterwaesche...das war auch gut so, denn das Nachthemdchen ist etwas ..nun...durchsichtig!! :) 
Es gibt viel zu zeigen und zu erzaehlen...aber ALLE Einzelheiten werde ich nicht verraten oder zeigen,denn ich lasse auch etwas uebrig fuer die naechste Gastgeberin!!! :)

kurz zu Anfang Erklaerungen auf Griechisch, denn hier sind natuerlich auch alle neugierig!

and now : here she is, yes MINI-JAZZI came to Greece first! 

She arrived very very late last night ! 

After happily and ever soooooooooooo pretty looking, she climbed out of her little suitcase-bag and only wanted one thing...her bed!

 Oh, dear, she was so tired after a whole week on the plane, in cars and lorries, post-offices, having shown her tiny passport at least 10 times... and finally the (very nice\) mailman!

Praline put her to bed, brought some nice and cool water for her to keep on her bedside...and her eyes closed the moment she put her little head on the pillow! 

Tiptoing all came to stand at her bed and just get a short look at her, with the guard stricly allowing them only some minutes...not to disturb her sleep! 

It is very warm in Athens, that's why her own purple blanket remained inside the suitcase...she would be too hot with it! But Praline advised her to get out the skirt for the morning...w'll see about a t-shirt...something will be found! These are the first pictures...i am sure..you will believe it: it was like welcoming a real little visitor! :) My family was thrilled ( all men..) , and we all together admired all Mini-Jazzi's luggage one by one piece...my second son imediately guessing (right)  that she must have brought at least 3 pairs of shoes! :) 

There are a million things to tell...but right now , i 'll leave you with the pictures of yesterday night! 

We are getting Breakfast ready now...and have to see about the bathroom, which i think-  will be just fine for the little princess! :) 

Now.......you might wonder.why i am not loudly shouting how very very surprised i am about her arriving here first! :)............??????????????????

Well....Jazzi and me...yes, we had a little secret ! 

Some time ago, before Mini-Jazzi was off to the worldtrip,we had arranged that she would come here first because the whole idea had sort of started with my suggestion...following a post Jazzi had written in her blog a long time ago! Meeting all you nice people through the blogs, i had been sighing....o, just how wonderful it would be to be able to visit each other in real life....but then, sigh again...and again...it is not possible because of soooo many reasons!

 We had then thought of sending each other some souvenirs...and then JAZZI CAME UP WITH MINI-JAZZI'S WORLDTRIP!!!!! :)  

ISN'T SHE A WONDERFUL PERSON?!!! 

The second reason is, that next to all wonderful souvenirs from Jazzi from Australia, you will also all get Souvenirs from Greece,too...and they will now go into the package,too...and will slowly make their way to all of you! 

Dear Jazzi...i can't thank you enough for all your planning, working  and preparations to make this beautiful idea possible!  God bless!!!!

I have been following the blog "Studying abroad in Greece" for some time now, finding it really interesting and serious!
After commenting several times on various subjects, the authors asked, if i would like to contribute with some little text having in mind youth-crises-Greece! ...which i did today thinking of the horrible fires here in Greece again..in Spain, Italy, Portugal...and so many other places in the world.
It is ever so exciting to see one's own words published somewhere else...i had to share it with you! The pictures published are also mine. I had some help from the authors with the text, in order to form it into a "readable" version  and would very much like to thank them!

Ein anderer Aspekt heute...einge Gedanken von mir.....veroeffentlicht! 
Seit einiger Zeit lese ich regelmaessig einen Blog ueber "Studieren im Ausland, in Griechenland" . Es wird dort sehr gut berichtet ueber viele verschiedene Themen, die das Leben hier betreffen. Nachdem ich oefters mal dort einen Kommentar geschrieben habe, fragten mich die Blog-Autoren ob ich nicht ab und zu einen Artikel zusteuern moechte im Zusammenhang Jugend-Krise-Griechenland. ...Was ich dann heute tat, im Zussammenhang mit den schlimmen Braenden ,die leider wieder vorgekommen sind, hier in Griechenland, in Spanien, Italien, Portugal..und an so vielen Orten auf der Welt.
Es ist aufregend seinen eigenen Text woanders veroeffentlicht zu sehen...dass wollte ich gern mit euch teilen! Die Bilder im Artikel sind auch von mir aus unserer Gegend.
Mit Hilfe der Blog-Autoren haben wir meinen Text "lesbar" gemacht..und dafuer moechte ich mich natuerlich auch bedanken!

Κατι διαφορετικό σημερα...δημοσιεύτηκαν μερικες σκεψεις μου!
Εδω και καιρο διαβαζω ενα μπλογκ που ασχολειται με την Ελλαδα, απο την οπτικη γωνια δυο ξενων καθηγητων ( ο ενας εχει Ελληνικη καταγωγη!!) οι οποιοι οργανωνων προγραμματα σπουδων στην Ελλαδα για ξενους φοιτητες. Βρισκω το μπλογκ τους πολυ καλό και σοβαρο. Αφου σχολίασα μερικές φορες πανω σε διαφορα ζητηματα , με ρωτησαν αν ηθελα να συμβάλω καμια φορα με ενα δικο μου κειμενακι, κυριως πάνω σε θέματα νεολαια-κριση-Ελλαδα.
Σκεφτόμενη τις καταστροφικές πυρκαγιες εδω, όσο και σε άλλες χώρες όπως Ιταλια, Ισπανια, Πορτογαλία και σε πολλά άλλα μερη ακομα ...έγραψα τις σκέψεις μου.
Το να δεις ενα δικο σου κειμενο δημοσιευμενο αλλού..ειναι πολύ συναρπαστικό..για αυτό ειπα να το μοιραστω μαζι σας! Είναι στα Αγγλικα...ελπίζω να μπορέσετε να το δειτε!

Monika hatte einen kleinen Geburtstags -swap gemacht fuer einen Kindergeburtstag. Schaut euch die wunderschoene Balkon-szene an auf ihrem Blog! Ich hatte nicht mitgemacht...aber dann las ich , dass Monika selber wirklich Geburtstag hatte...und so hab ich etwas Kleines dafuer gemacht! Obwohl der Geburtstag ja schon vorbei ist....lassen wir doch die Spannung noch etwas...bis es sie erreicht hat, und ich es euch dann auch zeigen kann!

Somebody totally stranger liked my phantasy scene "reading in the woods!"..happy about that ....exciting to see that! 

Jemand total Fremde hat meine PhantasieSzene "Lesen im Wald" herausgesucht und zeigt sie weiter! Freue mich drueber und ...ist ja aufregend!! :)

...the white tiny mugs are nice, too! the map is foldable (and unfoldable..!) , with map/pictures on both sides! size 6x8 cm , can be made on order! ( already making some for friends on Corfu who run another little hotel!) 

die weissen kleinen Becher sind auch schoen! 
die Karte ist faltbar, mit Karte/Bildern auf beiden Seiten. Die Groesse ist 6x8cm, koennen auf Bestellung gemacht werden. ( bin schon an der naechsten Auflage, fuer Freunde dort, die ein anderes, kleines Hotel haben!).
