not so easy to take a very close picture, but i was just shown how to set the "super-close-up" with the camera!so one can see the toothpick-chairs!( there are no "persons" in the scenes...as they are swimming in the sea right now!)

Never throw away Grandma's old handkerchiefs!

These handkerchiefs were really my Grandma's ones, i had kept them for years,always having had in mind sometimes to do something with them!

tried a little picnic basket for the first time ( after having "studied" sooooooo many nicer ones on many blogs!!!), and quite like it, although realised afterwards that some inside ribbons should be there ,too! They have to be in the next one!

Prayer for Japan ...and all of us!

Not getting away much from the internet today, looking at blogs inbetween  watching the news, i visited JULIE at  http://myblogswedishouse.blogspot.com/ and was very moved by the prayer she had put on her blog. I asked if i could copy it and she immedeateliy answered! So, let's join in sincere prayer!

Lord, protect our planet, because we live here, and here we dwell with our daily tragedies.

May our daily reconstruction be the result of the very best that we carry within us.

Give us the courage

to be able to reconstruct what was destroyed

to be able to recover what was lost

to be able to accept what was gone forever.

May you give us courage to look ahead,

may we never look back nor allow our soul to be discouraged.

Lord, give us enthusiasm, because Enthusiasm reaffirms to us that everything is possible, as long as we are totally committed to what we are doing.

Lord, may the Earth continue to transform seeds into wheat, may we continue to transmute wheat into bread. Do not leave us in solitude.

Have compassion on us, Lord. For we often think we are dressed when we are naked.

Do not forget, in your mercy, our friends in Japan, who are now teaching us the meaning of Courage, Reconstruction, Solidarity and Enthusiasm.

snow storm in Athens...but spring will be back for sure in 2 or the most 3 days!

A water well in the woods....

Athens is expecting some snowy days...perfect for me to start doing some work on a little forest-house! Today the little inhabitant brought his washing in a basket to the water-well, and also brought some little seats for the Little-ones!He forgot his shoes under the bench...that's why you will see them tomorrow!
