A busy week in Germany with a wonderful meeting!

For a long long time my father- 80 now- had expressed the wish to see all his children together one more time ! Well...it's 5 of us..and organizing all on one date wasn't the easiest thing!
But we finally managed and had a wonderful week in the end of May in the beautiful town of Saarlouis in southern Germany, right on the borders to Luxemburg and France!
So..we got ready , "all " of us! :)

In combination with this visit and due to more convenient flight times and easier departure airport  for me towards Athens on the way back, i had the chance to finally meet in person my very dear email/facebook friend Inge from Frankfurt. ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Minimagicblog/418497834939294?fref=ts ) !
We just had a few hours for our meeting, but it was overwhelmingly wonderful !
It was so funny before, when we talked about the visit on facebook...both of us - openly- wondering, if we would finally like each other when being together in reality :) :)
But having built up a very close friendship with all our messages during nearly 2 years..there was no such problem! On the contrary ...it was ever so lovely, heartwarming and moving to be with her and her great family !
Both, her and me are shy of showing pictures of ourselves...but a little "cutout" of us on that special afternoon can give you an idea! :)

Inge could easily turn her workspace ( and house :) ..into a museum, there are so many mini-treasures to see! :) 

Well, we took a tour through her dollhouse, better "Sonja"s house"..as Sonja is Inge's doll who lives in a beautiful modern dollhouse! 

Many pieces in there are handmade by my friend or other friends from our wonderful mini-world, some pieces also bought or found! 

Now..there were many highlights, but Praline absolutely LOVED the modern stove, which even had lights inside, as well as the washing machine...where we sent Caramel to to have a look...he had to wash his paws anyway in te bathroom after such a long journey! :) 

Inge had made tiny beautiful handbags for the "girls"...

and Caramel very quickly found a new friend, "Luigi" , who is the owner of Inge's newest masterpiece..a Pizza restaurant, where all things are beautifully matching, and one can smell Pizza from faraway! :) 

After our tour, they all sat there and enjoyed some wine and a lot of tasty pizza! :)

A most wonderful visit !

After we had left, Sonja finally had some time to study the map of Athens...who knows, perhaps she will visit us some day? :)

( i should mention that both Sonja and Lisi are handmade, fully movable,  dolls by Inge!  :) :)

nearly forgot 4. :) ...i found a solution to have cheap, practical and nice and small lights in all scenes!
und 4....beinahe vergessen! Habe eine billige, schoene und prakatische Loesung fuer kleine Lamopen gefunden!

Late summer days... :)

Noch ein bisschen Sommer! Mit einer Freundin kann ich ein paar Tage taeglich ans Meer hier bei Athen...das muss man ausnutzen! :)  ( Kommt aber sonst zu nichts anderem... :)

Some more summer...with a friend i can visit the beach near to Athens for some days! A wonderful opportunity..but no time for other things! :)

Xmas in July swap...how lucky we are! :)

Ich hatte wieder an Jazzi's Tausch-Aktion teilgenommen, der Titel, wie letztes Jahr auch, "Weihnachten im Juli"! Letztes Jahr habe ich mit Fabiola aus Italien getauscht, dieses Jahr war es Drora aus Israel! ( die links zu den Blogs seht ihr oben im englischen Teil!) 

It was a great pleasure for me to read in one of Drora's emails about the swap, that she loves  G.Durrell's books about Greece and especially the island of Corfu....so what better to make than these books in mini? :)
I am ever so happy that Drora was thrilled! There is a nice story to it- ( very fitting to Durrell's books, too!!) on her blog, together with many pictures of the swap-minis from me! Justt go here, to her blog!

Zu meiner grossen Freude las ich in einer email von Drora (waehrend wir uns fuer die Tauschaktion kennenlernten), dass sie die Buecher von G.Durrell ueber Griechenland und besonders Corfu so gern liest..und so konnte ich sie damit natuerlich wunderbar ueberraschen! Drora's presents to me have already arrived some days here! But we waited with showing them to you, as we wanted to both have recieved our packages! :)

Droras Geschenke an mich sind schon ein paar Tage hier. Aber wir wollten warten mit dem Zeigen, bis beide ihre Sachen haben!

Caramel was the one to read the Drora's card first...while Praline was busy already...o, she got some things so special!!! :) You can already see the beautiful flower-arrangement and the ever so tiny special shells from Israel, from Lake Galilei!

Caramel hat erst mal Drora schoene Karte gelesen...waehren Praline schon sehr beschaeftigt war! Sie hat ja so viele ganz besondere Sachen bekommen! Ihr seht hier schon die Blumen und die winzig winzig kleinen Muscheln aus Israel, vom See Galilaea! 

A beachbag and sandals in such happy colours , and a CAKE!!! And a beautiful little box with shells again... we couldn't stop looking! 

Eine Strandtasche und Sandalen...so froehlich, und ein KUCHEN !!! Und eine wunderschoene kleine Holzdose wieder mit Muscheln! ...wir konnten garnicht aufhoeren zu gucken!  

Jewelry for Praline...that was a thrill!!! :) ..of course you can image what this calls for, yes...a new dress! ( and one for the beach,too.....)
Schmuck fuer Praline...das war eine tolle Ueberaschung! :)...aber jetzt koennt ihr euch ja denken was das heisst! Ja, wieder ein neues Kleidchen! ( und ein Strandkleid..)

Well...the cake found a place VERY quickly...Caramel thought that with Praline getting so many things...the cake is HIS! and only HIS! :) He took it upstairs to eat while watching  his favourite programm...you know by now which one that is! :) 

Nun, der Kuchen..hat schnell seinen Platz gefunden! Caramel hat beschlossen ,dass der Kuchen IHM ganz ALLEIN gehoert, nur IHM!!! Praline hat ja so viel anderes bekommen! :) Er hat ihn gleich nach oben mitgenommen und isst ihn nun beim Anschauen seines Lieblingsprogramms...ihr wisst ja mittlerweile welches das ist! :) 

which leads us back to Jaz...!! Thanks so much for again organizing so many of us, for spreading the fun, for keeping up with emails and for making us "meet" in blogland! :)
Wobei wir dann wieder bei Jaz landen! Ganz Herzlichen Dank wieder dafuer, dass du diese Aktion  organisiert , Spass und Freude verbreitet hast, uns mit emails verbunden hast und dafuer gesorgt hast, dass wir uns gegenseitig im Blogland "treffen"! :)

ueber facebook lernte ich gerade eine Blogschreiberin, Sherry, aus Griechenland kennen, die ihren Blog vorstellte! ich hatte noch nicht die Zeit um in Ruhe zu gucken, aber nach einem ersten Blick kann ich schon sagen, es lohnt sich! Wunderschoene und viele Photos von Athen/Inseln/Griechenland! sie ist nun auch hier bei mir unter die "Blogfreunde" gegangen...was natuerlich toll ist!

"Studying" minis and dollhouse for quite some time now...i just had to apply some ideas in my real kitchen! :)

The flat we rent ...doesn't have tiles for the kitchen/oven...so i choose a pattern and thanks to our printing-business..i can try out again and again! :)
I wanted roses..and a fairy, somewhere in the kitchen...so this is what i came up with! I can change it whenever needed...but right now, i love my pink kitchen! :)

( AND that sign..i saw on a facebook-page some days ago! :)

Nach so viel "Studium" ueber Minis und Puppenhaeuser...musste ich jetzt einfach mal auch etwas fuer die grosse Kueche anwenden! :)

In der Wohnung, wo wir zur Miete wohnen gibts keine Kacheln ueber dem Herd...daher such ich immer wieder mal nach Schoenem,das ich dann dorthin klebe! Dank unserer Druckerei ist das auch kein Problem, ich kann immer wieder was ausprobieren!
Ich wollte Rosen und eine gute Fee...irgendwo in der Kueche! Also hab ich jetzt mal dies ausgesucht! Kann ja wieder geaendert werden..aber im Moment gefaellt sie mir, meine rosa Kueche! :)
UND das nette Schild, das ich vor ein paar Tagen auf Facebook sah! "Sei verrueckt, sei ehrlich, sei guetig!"

tidying up real - life kitchen..and workroom! Having fun...and thinking of ...Mini Jazzi, as we took out her summer-house and remembered all nice times! Look..there is sand in the corners...we will have to clean and remodel to make it an all-year-round-house!!! Who knows...perhaps she will come back to us sometimes?

Aufraeumen...anstreichen, diesmal die wirkliche Kueche! Es macht Spass...und wir denken an Mini Jazzi, weil wir ihr Sommerhaus hervorgeholt haben! Hach...war das schoen damals! Jetzt ist Sand in den Ecken...saubermachen auch hier angesagt, vielleicht bauen wir ja ein bisschen um? Dann kann es ein Haus fuers ganze Jahr werden..wer weiss, vielleicht kommt sie ja nochmal zu uns?
