Old books, bookshelves...decorations...
I think it is a tribute to old books when we use them - and don't throw them away :)
With these "mini-book-shops" ..well, except the titelpages of the books, there isn't much left of them...but i use the insidepages for other creations...so i don't feel bad about cutting them out :)
I am given many "i don't want them any more" books...as friends know by now that i will make something from it!
A little bookshop on the real-life shelf , how about that? :)
I am not finished by far !!!! You can see that further down in the picture of course .....But sharing this with you is a big percentage of the happiness one feels when building something new!
Now , this is NOT MY IDEA! I saw it on pinterest and fell for it!

I just finished the first window, there will be the door and another window!

It looks really great! It's one of the best ideas I have ever seen :) This scene reminds me wonderful book from my childhood "Za półką z książkami" (in english "Behind the bookshelf") about family of small, lovely creatures, living next to the people :)
