Memories ...and more! :)

Thank you to all dear followers for leaving so many ,kind, funny, sweet comments! They mean so much to me! 
Please forgive if i don't comment so often...i need more time!!! :)

within the last days i have had some orders  for mini-books, i am ever so happy about! :) Thus i was busy with books! :) 
Via facebook a blogfriend was the lucky 101st to  "Like" my mikropragmatakia page there (see link to facebook on the side bar!) ...so she could choose a mini book she wants! Can't show a picture yet...she will have to recieve her mail first! :) 
It was Barbara from http://babobaer.blogspot.de/ who makes bears and "bookies" , cute little "Bookworms"..that's what we call people who simply LOVE reading in German! Here is a photo from her blog, showing the "bookies"! Cute, aren't they?

She also asked if i could make books look a bit "older". I tried with tea..and it does look quite nice! I will try with various teas..this one turned out quite dark, but i wanted that!

Then , a tiny part of "left-overs" just wanted to be turned into a super-mini-folded-paper-mouse-baby! It became as cute as it wanted to be from the beginning! :) 

A new set of mini-books..which will be a very limited edition..as there is limited decoration for them left! Now..you might think i am crazy...but i needed something nice to make the "memories" more beautiful! ( we should write down the beautiful memories!!! ) 

Something romantic! 

I remembered a beautiful card, Birgit from http://biwubaer.blogspot.gr/ had sent some time ago ( remember all the wonderful presents and Caramel fainting with that Teddy-cake??? :) . 

That card, i thought , must have been handmade..and studying it closer YES it was handmade! 

So, dear Birgit, your card-decoration..see the photo!!...now decorates my "Memories"!!! ( don't worry, Flutterby, we kept your picture!!!! )

She had used a sticker-gold-girlande, which comes off again and cut into tiny pieces now serves as the my new decoration! :)

I'll leave you for today with pictures from very hot Athens and the traditional ,special guards at Constitution-square, who are not allowed to move during their duty (except when exercising some special steps) ..so their superior officer has the task of regularly wiping off the sweat on their heads!

Xmas in July swap...how lucky we are! :)

I took part again in Jazzi's "xmas in July" swap http://jazziminis.blogspot.gr/ , which is a real fun ! Last year i swapped with Fabiola from Italy ;) ..this year it was Drora from Israel!

Ich hatte wieder an Jazzi's Tausch-Aktion teilgenommen, der Titel, wie letztes Jahr auch, "Weihnachten im Juli"! Letztes Jahr habe ich mit Fabiola aus Italien getauscht, dieses Jahr war es Drora aus Israel! ( die links zu den Blogs seht ihr oben im englischen Teil!) 

It was a great pleasure for me to read in one of Drora's emails about the swap, that she loves  G.Durrell's books about Greece and especially the island of Corfu....so what better to make than these books in mini? :)
I am ever so happy that Drora was thrilled! There is a nice story to it- ( very fitting to Durrell's books, too!!) on her blog, together with many pictures of the swap-minis from me! Justt go here, to her blog!

Zu meiner grossen Freude las ich in einer email von Drora (waehrend wir uns fuer die Tauschaktion kennenlernten), dass sie die Buecher von G.Durrell ueber Griechenland und besonders Corfu so gern liest..und so konnte ich sie damit natuerlich wunderbar ueberraschen! Ausserdem gibts dazu eine nette Geschichte auf ihrem Blog (auf Englisch) ! Dort hat sie auch ganz viele schoene Photos eingestellt von den Sachen, die ich ihr geschickt habe! Dazu klickt ihr hier :

Drora's presents to me have already arrived some days here! But we waited with showing them to you, as we wanted to both have recieved our packages! :)
Now..here is the photo-story..see for yourself!

Droras Geschenke an mich sind schon ein paar Tage hier. Aber wir wollten warten mit dem Zeigen, bis beide ihre Sachen haben! 
Hier gehts nun los! : 

Praline and Caramel very serious...hoping they can get a glimpse!!!

o Ja, sie durften!!!! 

Caramel was the one to read the Drora's card first...while Praline was busy already...o, she got some things so special!!! :) You can already see the beautiful flower-arrangement and the ever so tiny special shells from Israel, from Lake Galilei!

Caramel hat erst mal Drora schoene Karte gelesen...waehren Praline schon sehr beschaeftigt war! Sie hat ja so viele ganz besondere Sachen bekommen! Ihr seht hier schon die Blumen und die winzig winzig kleinen Muscheln aus Israel, vom See Galilaea! 

A beachbag and sandals in such happy colours , and a CAKE!!! And a beautiful little box with shells again... we couldn't stop looking! 

Eine Strandtasche und Sandalen...so froehlich, und ein KUCHEN !!! Und eine wunderschoene kleine Holzdose wieder mit Muscheln! ...wir konnten garnicht aufhoeren zu gucken!  

Jewelry for Praline...that was a thrill!!! :) ..of course you can image what this calls for, yes...a new dress! ( and one for the beach,too.....)
Schmuck fuer Praline...das war eine tolle Ueberaschung! :)...aber jetzt koennt ihr euch ja denken was das heisst! Ja, wieder ein neues Kleidchen! ( und ein Strandkleid..)

Well...the cake found a place VERY quickly...Caramel thought that with Praline getting so many things...the cake is HIS! and only HIS! :) He took it upstairs to eat while watching  his favourite programm...you know by now which one that is! :) 

Nun, der Kuchen..hat schnell seinen Platz gefunden! Caramel hat beschlossen ,dass der Kuchen IHM ganz ALLEIN gehoert, nur IHM!!! Praline hat ja so viel anderes bekommen! :) Er hat ihn gleich nach oben mitgenommen und isst ihn nun beim Anschauen seines Lieblingsprogramms...ihr wisst ja mittlerweile welches das ist! :) 

which leads us back to Jaz...!! Thanks so much for again organizing so many of us, for spreading the fun, for keeping up with emails and for making us "meet" in blogland! :)
Wobei wir dann wieder bei Jaz landen! Ganz Herzlichen Dank wieder dafuer, dass du diese Aktion  organisiert , Spass und Freude verbreitet hast, uns mit emails verbunden hast und dafuer gesorgt hast, dass wir uns gegenseitig im Blogland "treffen"! :)

He thought of watering my plants!
AND is sure that with a BIG watercan...the flowerpots (from paperstripes) will get flowers soon! :) He needed Praline to carry it! It was so heavy!
( all are made from paper, the "real life" one,too! I wanted to try out to make the same in mini and big...i didn't put much effort into the painting of the jugs..you can see that! )

Er hat dran gedacht, die Blumen zu giessen! UND ist sicher, dass es mit einer GROSSEN Kanne doch klappen muss, dass die Blumentoepfe (aus Papierstreifen) fertig werden! ;) Er brauchte aber dazu Praline, die Kanne war echt schwer! 
(alle aus Papier, die "lebnsgrosse" auch! Ich wollte ausprobieren, sowohl in mini als auch in gross das Gleiche zu machen..und habe ich mich aber mit dem Anmalen nicht sooo sehr angestrengt, wie man ja sehen kann!  ) 
Fuer die grosse MINI- Kanne habe ich diese Anleitungen..in etwa ..benutzt. Es ist eigentlich fuer eine Bauern-Milch-Kanne, http://mahupe.free.fr/PotLait.html

my first letters, need practice, but am quite satisfied for a start! This folded heart is not the best ...but i thought it should have a chance ,too! It has "suffered" a lot! :)

Meine ersten gefaltenen Buchstaben, fuer den Anfang bin ich relativ zufrieden! Braucht Uebung! Das gefaltene Herz ist nicht das Beste...aber ich will ihm doch auch eine Chance geben, es hat viel "gelitten"!:)

thank you for all kind comments!! :) i put a "holder on the side...a nicer pen would be nicer..but anyway, it is there! :)

Danke fuer alle lieben Kommentare! Der Stifthalter ist nun an der Seite dran..mit schoenerem Stift saeh's besser aus...aber dieser war nun gerade da! :) 
Und ihr koennt sehen, wie einfach die Papierrolle gewechselt werden kann!
